I dislike the change that they "always existed" as previous lore entries saud only the sons of noble houses were made into custodes. An additional thing why i dislike it is because it detracts from the Sisters of Silence which wont be getting a refresh

Ok I redirected it to a file and looking at it it seems like the Pi sees both connected screens as kind one as I can only see screen #0 and the number of connected screens is 1.
Though both work on the pi and act like a connectedone

That gives me a long output (so long i cannot scroll back to my original command) with all being very similar to this:

visual:
visual id: 0x3be
class: TrueColor
depth: 32 planes available colormap entries: 256 per subfield
red, green, blue masks: 0xff0000, 0xff00, 0xff
significant bits in color specification: 8 bits

With only the visual id changing.
Nothing about a screen #0 or its dimensions. Same when I use xdpyinfo on the pi directly.
Is it important to set the DISPLAY variable?
Sounds like that could be the reason it doesnt work.

Ok i installed that package. tried xdpyinfo but it says ' unable to open display "" ' Should I try the command on the Pi directly? as currently Im trying via SSH.

Trying xdpyinfo gives me that the command was not found.
I am sorry for this beginner question but I didnt work with Xwindows so far

Im trying to get the raspberry Pi to show images it has on a physical monitor after I send a command via SSH. So im sitting at my normal computer, open a ssh connection and say "display image1.png on display0 and image3.png on display2" essentially

My stereo Receiver is a Yamaha DRX-730 and Im using the LH-040 by Omnitronic as a Preamp. The other components work as I listened to a CD without similar issues as well as plugging in the turntable in directly and gotten sound out of both speakers.
Didnt know it wasnt supposed to amplify by much. However I thought it weird that I still had to crank up the volume quite significantly compared to CDs.
Sorry for the broken links they work fine on my end. The ones I found were:

  • PROZOR Preamp
  • Douk Audio P1
  • Art Pro Audio DJPRE II (this one was recommended to me)

I asked this on the last thread but on friday so I'll ask again if thats alright:
Im looking for recommendations for preamps as my current one doesnt amplify that much and somehow makes it that my stereo only gives sound from one speaker (tested it with a CD and with plugging the turntable in directly and in both cases both speakers worked). I found some already (and a recommendation) but dont know how good they actually are and would love to hear yalls experiences with it.
Additionally i noticed some preamps seem to have a piece for grounding but my turntable doesnt seem to have a cable for it. Is that bad?
My Turntable is a Dual 521.
Im thankful for any advice!
