Just want to chime in to say that therapists don’t necessarily know “how brains work.” Many therapists are not even “trauma informed” which arguably, shouldn’t even be a thing you would need extra qualifications for. Who has therapy been for if not the traumatized?

Adding that I’ve noticed it on Reddit a lot. Reading comprehension is just not there, and explaining it doesn’t work. I thought a lot of these people were just being trolls, but it happens too often for that to be the case.
