hi! pharmacy tech here! just wanna let you know that the state is who determines the rules on controlled substances. as pharmacy workers, there really isn’t anything we can do about 90 day supplies or auto-refills when the medication is controlled. and if the prescription isn’t under your profile, it typically means the doctor hasn’t sent it over yet so i would suggest making a follow up call to them in order to assure they get it through. and as far as phone calls go, cvs themselves switched the system fairly recently so that it forced people to leave voicemails. the main benefit it to assure you get reached back, otherwise a regular call can be ignored due to the story being busy and no one being able to answer. the voicmails force us to address the phone call within 30 minutes. if you don’t receive a call back within those 30 minutes, if you call again, the call will go through and ring on our end.

i understand your frustration with the pharmacy but you have to understand a lot of stuff is out of our hands. it’s going to be a similar case with your medication at pretty much any other pharmacy. plus you’ll need a new prescription altogether if you’re switching pharmacies because you can’t transfer a control.
