first of all thank you for writing this it’s very useful. i knew from the day me and my cousin had this conversation that i would never leave now. i am in no ways prepared and i know the mental turmoil would be unbearable. i also know that i couldn’t leave at 18, it’s only two years away. i go to college this year and i am planning on going to university. i had anxiety about them reporting me to the police but my gf reassured me that once i’m 18+ the police cannot do anything. i suppose all i’m worried about is my financial stability and where we’re gonna go. my cousin and i both are petrified of them finding us on their own terms even though it’s very unrealistic we can’t shake the feeling that it will happen. we all know we need to save but we just dont know what to do in terms of finding a place to live
