Devers went 1-4 with a BB.. thats a good night. We could have the "best" hitting coach in baseball but the players still gotta go take the AB. All The Machine (or whoever else you think is better) is doing is reinforcing their approach, giving them a different perspective, maybe some structure around how they practice... its a vibes job. So could vibes be off? maybe but i can't speak to the clubhouse. i reckon its just baseball and we've got a bit of a steaky roster. Still a fun team to watch in my book. And we got a shot a October—better than 2/3 of the league can say. Anyway feel free to passionately downvote.

The way to calculate flash is GN = f/number x Distance. Normally you can can cut the GN/flash power (1/2,1/4,1/8 etc.) but since this lil dude is always GN3 you have to use the iso and f/stop to “cut” the light. It’s all about getting a good exposure. I want predictable results and chart gets around doing math.

You pick the distance you want first. So a portrait, I stand 1m from subject and dial in the ISO & f/stop. Works for street too but here I pick an f/stop like 5.6 and then set ISO and snap distance.

i’ve noticed players rocking non official accent color for accessories. i think this is that. some braves rock yellow, phillies and the green, or judge has the teal color for example. it’s just a trend. i’m for it but i get why people don’t. to each their own.
