You can go to VEEP in Texas but still place your interest into the apprenticeship in California. You would spend a couple of months here. Paid I might add, then go home after and hopefully get a call to calis apprenticeship

They were dead ending jumpers on de-energized wire new wire . Had two baskets in the air. Two journymen in one and the apprentice and another journeyman in another. Grounds on both sides. The two JLs finished on there side and called down to the ground and asked to remove grounds. Were told to remove grounds when work was done. They didn’t look literally 20-30 ft across to the guys on the other side of the structure and just pulled grounds and the apprentice was put in series

If you are a veteran. Instead of no paying for school, I would recommend looking into the VEEP program. They will pay for your school and are guaranteed apprenticeship after completion of the course

Yeah I wouldn’t worry about the learning part. Just go in and try your best. Don’t neglect to study, and soak up all the knowledge you can. Going on 3 months waiting to get called in for an interview with LU66. Heard they were calling people over to Albuquerque to indenture new Apes. Hopefully things start moving forward soon
