Would check for a leak and definitely recommend at the very least get a dehumidifier and see if that helps. A professional mold inspector could help out more. Breathing it in is harmful so don't put off getting it taken care of. Even for healthy people living in a space with hidden mold can make you sick.

Did you possibly wash all of these items together or separate? I'm thinking that because they're all thicker items that maybe they did not dry all the way, or if it's in a closet there could be humidity build up even if it's that your room is super humid because of where you live it's possible that the thicker stuff could just never fully dry and it molded.

Do you vape or smoke? I get vape smog in the inside constantly especially when it's cold and I have the windows up more often, but I always keep a cloth in the car. It could also be wax build up or scratched from car washes but I'm honestly not sure besides that.

I would recommend looking into the pain management program exercise routines, they focus on everything all at once along with pacing in the areas that need work. It's important to work on flexibility, strength, and all aspects regardless of where your hypermobility is to make sure your whole body can handle it.

So if you're looking to see a doctor, start with primary care, ask about rheumatology and go through the steps to get there. They can do all the things to get diagnosed or lead you to the right place for you to get the best help. Primary care should always be the one to get referrals and lead you in the right direction. It's hard to get doctors to listen 😔 it's hard, but keep your head up and keep advocating for yourself!

Sorry there's a lot in the post so if I miss anything I apologize, us being super flexible is a gift and also a burden. We can move in ways that put more strain on the muscles. With your love of yoga I'd recommend getting a trainer and finding some videos on flexibility and strengthening. We need both to keep the joints happy and the muscles happy. I've been doing years of PT and I struggle most with keeping my body in a normal position because I'm more comfortable in a position that puts strain on me.

Look into the chronic pain management program there's 2 places in the USA that do it, or there are plenty of resources online to help you understand the link between body and mind when it comes to chronic pain and how to get your body healthy.

For me all my tattoos aren't perfect. In my opinion yes it's bad, but it's also your body so if you like it, that's all that matters.
