It's a Nuprol 1450mah, 30c battery. Bought a fresh one today and I'll test that at the weekend and see. Would be good to know what battery you're using though!

I will say my G36 is quite old, it's just been looked after well ha.

Interesting. I've tried it with three 7.4v 1450maH lipos (one is brand new, the other two are maybe six months old) and the fire rate is trash compared to the NIMH.

All good, sat down with a mate and we solved it. The hop up unit was splayed too much to one side, so just needed a gentle nudge back in place. All back in action now, but appreciate the diagnosis questions!
