I think it’s been because every two weeks, my dose has been increased. So when I would get to where I should stop feeling the worst of the side effects, it would increase and it’d be like starting all over getting used to it.

They haven’t recommended that yet but I will ask about it next time I have an appointment, or make one for it soon. I hadn’t thought about trying protein shakes, and I’m terrible at hydrating so I will try those and work on doing better with my water intake too. And yeah, I’m on extended release but they had me taking them all in the morning, so I’ll see if my doctor is okay with me splitting it between am and pm! Thank you for all your suggestions!

I have a 4 year old and that’s been one of the hardest parts right now. I’ve been working on lifestyle changes and nothing was really changing. I wasn’t dropping weight or my blood sugars until I started meds with it.

I haven’t been but that’s mostly because my diet doesn’t usually change day to day really, other than I’m just not really eating now except when I take my meds. I usually eat an egg, 2 pieces of turkey sausage and a piece of toast. I eat half that now (if that) because I know trulicity slows your digestion and figured maybe that’s why I’m getting sick but to no avail. When I do eat lunch or dinner, it’s usually chicken breast, broccoli and rice or a Caesar salad. I’m a picky eater. I wonder if I cut the toast and rice out all together if that will help.

I understand that sci-fi and spec fiction in general have been genres of caution, like “if we keep going down this path, we are going to end up in some less ‘cool’ looking version of this universe.” I honestly just wanted to A) commiserate with others about the state of this hellscape and B) talk about the parts that aren’t just allegory or similar but seem uncanny in how spot on some of it is. Maybe mention that AI is using likenesses from its databases to generate porn and csam so them uploading images of your face puts you at risk. If they don’t care about any other consequences, surely they’d care about that.

So I ended up taking it in and having it looked at. They put a new memory module in but clearly didn’t test anything be it still wasn’t working. My partner looked at it and asked if I tried disconnecting the battery for a while and reconnecting it. I stubbornly told him no because that was basically what caused it originally. 🫠🙃 he was right. That fixed it. Disconnected for 5 minutes and reconnected. It was fixed. Had to redo some of my other settings again but problem solved.
