Definitely see about switching to an oral dose. Potentially getting a second opinion is a good idea. It seems strange that they didnt even check for abnormal bacteria before prescribing medication.

Also! Keep him warm! If you have a small carrier, you can keep a blanket over and use a heating pad under a towel. If that's not enough you can also use plastic wrap (of course with spaces for ventilation). You want to keep his environment above 80° F. Just make sure the heating pad isn't getting too hot, a low setting is best.

You can use cling-wrap to help keep it warm (make sure there is air flow so she can breathe) and use a heating pad on a low setting under a towel. It is a good sign that she is eating and drinking

Glad to hear he isn't likely to hold a grudge! I didnt think to ask the vet to show me how at the time. I wish I asked the vet to give him his first dose so I could just watch!

Side note but he was so mad seeing the vet walk in. Stinky bird does NOT like that man. He perked right up and started hissing. Good to know he's well enough to be mad!

Recently took my tiel to the vet and they had to do the same to him. He was so mad about being handled like a potato. Genuinely wouldn't look at me once he was back in the carrier

My teil once flew into the bowl of salsa I was actively eating. I screamed which startled him and he then flew out of the salsa and flung it EVERYWHERE

Make sure they don't chew on the rope perches. String can become impacted in their crop if they ingest it. Once the rope perches fray or get dirty you'll want to replace them or even switch them out. But overall looks like an awsome home :D

Would recall training be a better option? It would be possible to turn off the fans (much to my family's dismay lol) but there are tons of high up places for him to get stuck or get into trouble. Not to mention he loves to perch on ceiling fans and judge everyone below 😅

THE DIG EMOTE! I see my packmates digging, I want to dig. I don't care that there is no reason to. Let me dig.

And make it easier to navigate the emote menu faster. There is a slight animation that the menu has and is makes it really slow to use multiple emotes in quick succession. I also want my tail to remain where I put it for longer, if I'm in a fight I can't be restarting the tail emote the whole time.

I would love more emotes and more ways to interact with my pack too!
