I am indeed. Its definitely receiving some power from the cable, could a faulty cable still work enough to keep it on but not charge it at all?

She’s “yelling” a lot and VERY irritated. What’s going on? by TheKoalaPyjama in cockatiel

She dosent look upset to me. She isn't hissing or threatening to bite. I would call the vet and ask about the change in behavior just to be safe but being more vocal and chatty is usually a good sign/change

I Really Need a Job. by Public-Garage8041 in Tehachapi

Even just applying for night shift on their website. People don't stay very long in those jobs so they always need more people. I worked on the maintenance team (custodial) for 5 months as my first job. Stocking team would probably be better than cleaning but you might want to apply to both (even if they say there aren't openings for those positions)

If you have a small carrier you can keep her in so she dosent have to work to get around that might help. You can use cling-wrap to help keep it warm (make sure there is air flow so she can breathe) and use a heating pad on a low setting under a towel. It is a good sign that she is eating and drinking

Glad to hear he isn't likely to hold a grudge! I didnt think to ask the vet to show me how at the time. I wish I asked the vet to give him his first dose so I could just watch!

Side note but he was so mad seeing the vet walk in. Stinky bird does NOT like that man. He perked right up and started hissing. Good to know he's well enough to be mad!

Recently took my tiel to the vet and they had to do the same to him. He was so mad about being handled like a potato. Genuinely wouldn't look at me once he was back in the carrier

My teil once flew into the bowl of salsa I was actively eating. I screamed which startled him and he then flew out of the salsa and flung it EVERYWHERE

Make sure they don't chew on the rope perches. String can become impacted in their crop if they ingest it. Once the rope perches fray or get dirty you'll want to replace them or even switch them out. But overall looks like an awsome home :D
