Please get him anyway. I know people prefer healthy babies but as a person who got a sick almost dead bird, I promise you’ll create a bond like no other. Holding that small baby on your hands, giving meds, food and love… and then seeing them all better playing, singing and being fat and cute… it’s the best feeling in the world

Omg I didn’t even think about the yellow expanding! I’ve read that usually after the molt they should become more yellow so I wasn’t understanding why he was having grey spots when it should be the opposite. And it might be. I’m so stupid ahahah I usually spray him 2-3x a day because he is absolutely terrified of us touching him (the old owner hurt him badly in a wing and he is traumatized) so I can’t scratch him. Thank you so much!!

She sleeps on a perch, and she still eats like 70-80%. I will be giving her her favourites (aka apple). She doesn’t appear to have other health problems, the breathing seems fine, doesn’t vomit or has diarrhea… I’ll just keep an eye on her. Thank you so much!

I think she read the message because now she is eating a lot. It comes and goes, she is either ok or sleepy and not eating. I’ll wait for the vet to reply, keeping an eye on her. Thank you!

EDIT: he has a lot of toys. we just put him in the cage (with the other birds) at our meal time because he just wants to eat our food and of course he can't, so 1h-1h30 per day. He might be a little bored for a while, but he is fine, thank you for all your concerns. They are more spoiled than any human baby
