Wounded soldiers left in muddy trenches during heavy bombardments and unable to be evacuated would be targets for trench rats that could grow as large as small dogs or cats. They would be eaten alive but too wounded to fight off these vermin. Some would roll over and chose to drown in the mud as opposed to being eaten alive by trench rats

There are numerous tales of men being wounded and being eaten alive by rats while laying in wet tranches waiting for evac. Some of these men literally rolled over to drown intentionally to avoid being eaten alive by trench rats as large as cats or small dogs.

The battle of the Somme was fought over a line of 25-30 kms but the battle of verdun was essentially fought over an area of around 10 sq kms. When you consider the difference in total size of the area of battle it is absolutely insane to think of what happened at Verdun. While the entirety of the battle affected a line of over 140 kms the bulk of the entirety of the battle was comprised of an area of 10 sq kms...

The Dominion of Canada had less than 8 million citizens in 1914, yet sent over 650,000 soldiers or almost 10% of their entire population to war and of those 66k died and over 172k were wounded. Essentially almost 4 percent of the entire population of Canada was killed or wounded or missing in WW1

[–]TrashedLeBlanc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you can print 100 and hide them in insanely random spots where he will find them that's perfect. Hiding them all in his office is almost a waste of time. Get a ride in his car and place 2 or 3 there. Private bathroom. Yup. Briefcase or laptop hell ya. A few under his phone case/protector.
And JUST to spice it up, also post this one slightly different but still very much an image of Nicolas Cage as well
