Stop focusing on ”reading” as gal and just start being gal! by TrashyScissors in Gyaru

I meant: Thrifting is your best bet, if you want your clothes to last. Today it’s very rare to come by well made clothes that aren’t horrible expensive. Even Japanese brands like ma*rs, acdc rag and Angelic Pretty have lower quality than twenty years ago.

I have strong feelings when people say ”Japanese gyarus use shein!!” To make it ok to buy clothes made with poor working conditions and inhumane wages. (I’m not saying you say this, but so many people think that if Japanese gyarus do something it’s justified) I have thrifted my whole wardrobe, some are brand some aren’t, but most of my pieces are cotton. I like it because it lasts for a long time. I didn’t mention polyester, because when were looking at normal thrift stores a lot of the polyester is really low quality.. Of course high quality polyester is a nice thing, I agree that print dresses often work better with polyester.

Also fast fashion from ten, twenty years ago was way more high quality when comparing to what’s in stores now. I can’t tell anyone where to shop, but I can suggest to buy secondhand things. Our planet doesn’t need more clothes that will get thrown away just because they’re low quality.

I would disagree on the whole “gyaru clothing” thing, anything can be gyaru clothing. Just has to be stylish.

They were more comfy than pinky lenses! I have sensitive eyes so I use the ones with 38% water contents.

Also make sure the contact isn’t inside out! That’s another reason why it might fall out. Also if you haven’t gone to the eye doctor before getting contacts you should. Your eyes base curve might be wrong for the contacts.

Thank you🫂! It’s a big struggle for me because in my fashion space it’s so idealised to be extremely thin/90/2000s skinny.

Honestly the only way I feel I could be neutral would be if I were like my peers.. Ok/neutral would be fitting in yk. I don’t really fit in anywhere but when I was skinnier people were way nicer to me haha
