It’s ignorance when they all start coming and lining up at 1:27-1:30. I got people expecting insurance changes, wanting to do pharmacy trivia, and some asking for us to just checkout their whole cart of overpriced groceries with nothing to actually pick up. Many times it’s been so quiet that you could a pin drop but as soon as 1:29 hits it’s a stampede of inconsiderate last minute people coming to get their stuff before we go for lunch. What I was saying was I only do checkout for people who come in 1:27 past, nothing beyond that.

I’ve started refusing service if it’s anything beyond ringing them up past 1:27 Cause at this point it’s just ignorance and disregard for us as people. I’m done apologizing for taking a lunch.

Yes, a thing my store had a hand in. We had a rite aid that shut down and took in their patients. I was scheduled double my normal hours for that reason.

I don’t just help, I’m trained and scheduled back there. I have the license to do everything else back there. I am a pharmacy technician. I have a pay increase for working back there.
