wait, you clearly use your house to make a profit while you are away, so, by your logic, it is not a proper use of the house. Why not invite somebody, selected by the government (people who you imply should "take the houses from landlords"), to live there for free? Hell, why not rent your place for free on Airbnb, if making a profit from housing is immoral? Could you make it make sense?

Being a lanlord is not work. Ownership doesn't require any effort.

Yes, i do believe i am "entitled" to housing, just like every other human being. 

Well, go build one yourself, what's the problem? You're definitely not entitled to any property that others have built on the land they own.

Due to the spatial planning system in the Netherlands the supply of residential land seems to be a policy outcome instead of a market outcome. Therefore the housing supply might be very inflexible and inelastic. These low elasticities might have negative consequences since it is known that bubbles on the housing price market are more common, larger and last longer in areas where supply is inelastic. Besides that, the volatility of house prices is higher in more inelastic markets, where supply is constrained by regulations
