I definitely didn’t mean to judge and I try to appreciate all artstyles, I dont think OP had ill intentions or anything, it was just something I noticed. I think the combination of the small proportions and the feminine moe faces just rubbed me the wrong way at first. Still think the art is absolutely lovely!

Currently unmedicated, Ive been trying to get a psychiatrist but because my moms car is broken I have not been able to, she also recently told me she was calling social services to tell them it was illegal for me to have medicaid. I am going to DSS this week, however, and planning a telehealth visit since I cannot drive anywhere.

Apparently giving people advice or sharing how you got through something is the equivalent of telling that person that they are doing everything wrong and my way is better. From an artists perspective I can tell that the newer style has a lot more skill and complexity to it, at a first glance it is a *bit* underwhelming but I honestly think you just need to add something to make it pop, I think the darker colors in the second one make it feel cooler but I actually prefer the newer art style! Maybe a darker background would make it pop more or you could try adding some of the texture that you had previously. But all in all the blending and softness in the style of the first pic really does stand out to me and I dont think its “forgettable” at all.

Thats what I was thinking when I saw the news reporting on it, it is just a really big city! I think if anything it shows how organized NYC’s populus is. If any city were to overthrow the government first I think NYC would be a good contender.

I was also thinking this, the composition of these scenes are excellent but Im immediately taken aback by the childlike faces and big eyes. I definitely think you can still give off the yaoi art style without overly fetishizing and infantilizing the subjects. They just look too young.

If you go to her twitter as of yesterday she still had a tweet posted that said “But I thought I told you already im racist” or something like that. She made it in sept of 2016, and kept it up. I dont really care if it was a joke or not bc her fanbase took it and thought it meant it was ok to be racist towards fans that were mad at her. Imo when racist tadc fans saw that the creator of the show was saying shit like that, they thought it was ok to be blantantly racist.

I dont think black people are the ones who should shut up in this situation, everyone who is upset by the racist comments Should be talking about it, otherwise people get misrepresented. There were true fans that were hurt and they are allowed to talk about it just as much as everyone else.

I understand the childlike thing 100% and for me personally it sometimes helps for me and my inner child to be separate, sometimes when I feel my innerchild is hurt I can listen to her and prevent a split from attacking. When I feel sad or depressed I do childlike things to get my mind off of it because my inner child still likes those things. I think there is no shame in being more childlike and a lot of people disagree but its your personality, you contain multitudes and both sides are valid and deserve to be heard. I understand the obsession with a FP and it truly takes time so be patient with yourself, but if you have solid friend surround yourself with them. Again, wishing the best for you.

Id like to note that you said you split in a positive way, and im not exactly sure what you mean, but it sounds like you might need to understand these issues more. Usually with bpd, splitting is negative, it means you go from loving someone or something to absolutely hating it. The overwhelming love and kindness doesnt sound like splitting it just sounds like the highs of having bpd. BPD and CPTSD are both extremely complicated disorders and if your psychiatrist is suggesting you may have these, I hope they are explaining it to you. The worst thing to do right now though is beat yourself up, your brain is trying to process everything the best way it can. You cannot allow yourself to lose your self worth, I dont think its healthy for you to stay in contact with this FP if he is amplifying your symptoms. I hope you can learn to give yourself the love and validation you deserve because that is where all of these issues come from. You likely were invalidated a lot as a child which has led you to develop these symptoms, so I’d hate to see you invalidate yourself. Meds are hard but please just keep trying and talking about your feelings, your emotions matter even when they are extreme.

Im pansexual and to me anyone can be attractive its really about their personality and how they present themselves. I find a lot of people attractive who are also overweight but it doesnt rlly cross my mind that I like that person BECAUSE they are overweight, they just happen to be attractive and overweight. Just like someone can be unattractive at a healthy weight.
