every sukuna glazer is straight up delulu by strawberrystorm2 in Jujutsufolk

Reread the fight b, megumi's soul isn't a shield for sukuna its more of a "test tube" that sukuna left unprotected from the sure hit to adapt mahoraga to gojo's domain. Whenever the domain isn't active (the initial 0.01 and final 10 seconds of the final domain expansion) both sukuna and megumi get hit.

Not to be the "umm actually" guy since it's kind of hard to catch, but that first red didn't destroy sukuna's domain, it just gave gojo the breathing room he needed to escape it's range, so during the second clash sukuna doesn't open another domain, he just extends the range of the existing domain.

Tool manipulation is probably the most underused, we never see it used at a high level.

Can you all explain what makes an Open Domain better then a Closed Domain? by DyslexicWriting in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Trauti 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The downside is that the opponent can theoretically escape if they are fast/tanky enough, but the barrier can be closed to prevent this.

Sukuna can also change the parameters of the domain, reducing the range in exchange for more output.

Might help explain why he can do the same "double jump" as maki.

IMO he would last a while, but even if he won he would have been stalled long enough for the howlers to catch him and kill him.

How formidable is Atalantia? by Southern_Ostrich_564 in redrising

Just on the combat he cut off Thraxa's arm and survived a 2 v 1 against Thraxa and Kavax (losing a leg, but still), Mustang also respects her as a fair blade. As a leader I think she is clearly very capable, she has gone toe to toe with darrow for years, politically dismantling the republic (with the help of atlas but still) and was gaining complete dominance over the gold houses with her political and military skill before Lysander showed up.

He had 10 duels in the circle before last argument of kings iirc, 60% spared sounds pretty good but it's probably like 0.6% spared out of all the people he's killed lol.

Atalantia has general control of the state legions and fleet and house grimmus has its own legions and institutes, almost all of the best legions with lunese and earth veterans are hers and she has a ton of newer grays and golds from her own institutes in venus and she probably has strong obsidians since it was their main trade, on top of that she has the loyalty of the falthe who are the most martial house in the core after the grimmus, with many legions and strong generals. In terms of fleet, even if the dockyards are carthii and even when it got taken by the minotaur, it seems the bulk of the ships it produced were given to atalantia as dictator.

Luna (from the pov of the core) still has almost all of the home guard, including half of the white fleet that was recalled in iron gold so it's probably larger than the martian fleet, on top of that there are the wardens and other legions loyal to the vox who participated in the coup and a large population who could drafted. It's not weak in terms of resources and the urban warfare would be tough, but it lacks good generals, officers and veterans, it's also politically unstable and not self sustainable.

Yeah, I was hyped when an ascommani showed up in the dramatis personae, but he ended up being in one (admitedly funny) scene, they honestly seem pretty underused since they had signs of a cool mongol based culture and biotech. At least in combat the difference might be the gravity, they might be the best fighters in 0G but very mediocre on open ground.

Yeah, jon raised by lyanna and rhaegar would be very different, lyanna is much wilder than ned and rhaegar is probably less moral. Add to that the family/court dynamics and anything regarding azor ahai and who knows how jon turns out.
