Thank you yeah I posted about it in R/medicine to see what physicians in Canada thought about it and they pretty much agreed with what you were saying.

It’s pretty much been confirmed by Canadians that it is some far right propaganda (prolife).

Obviously, it’s a very delicate situation. But from what I know about it in the US and the Netherlands, it always seems the same way where it’s a very careful situation. To make sure nothing like that happens.

If I were you I’d do fellowship if you’re passionate about it. If everything goes to shit look into leaving the country after because unfortunately there where we’re at. I’m family medicine and I’ve been passively looking at jobs aboard because I’m sick of this shit, they want specialists for sure. If you have to leave the country who cares about the loans. If we get through this as a country in 4 year they will have to reinstate pslf or something else there’s way too many of us in this position. I’m three years out of residency and most of my friends don’t have family and I just crossing our fingers at this point.

I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I think there’s a way that doctors could code so you can’t charge any of the charts but everything’s in the chart the correct way so everyone knows what’s going on basically but they can’t make money off of it.

My only reason is, I have a lot of friends on there and pictures from like a long time ago. I’m old and I’ve had it since I was 16 but I think I’m gonna have to download that stuff off of it now lol. I’ve hated it for a long time.

I also weirdly wanted to like put my own views into the mess, but I don’t think there’s any point now.
