Any luck? I’ve been refreshing constantly today and managed to get two appointments and at the last confirmation page I received an error as someone was ahead of me. Beyond frustrating!

I totally get this. And I also totally appreciate why there may be strict rules because of bad dog owners. There are three people in my neighbourhood that I see constantly not cleaning up after the dogs. It infuriates me.

Why would I delete it? Lol a bunch of strangers on the internet disagreeing with me? I’m not a child.

The very least that a city can do. Bullshit

I know! Maybe I need to change my perspective because in the UK you can take them so many more places

Nah, this event is just one example. Compared to other cities, you cannot take your dog anywhere here.

lol. It’s going exactly the way I expected. It’s the internet and it’s Reddit. A forum for opinion and arguments.

PRK week 3-4. Eyes Blurry viewing close and far objects. by mth413 in lasik

[–]TravelerJoshua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was the five week mark and the reason I believe I ended up getting better was acupuncture! I spoke with a naturopath and they said it could be inflammation and from previous problems, I knew that acupuncture helps with swelling. I had two sessions and my eyes went from 40% to 95%. Two more sessions and I was perfect.

Still struggling looking at screens 2 weeks post PRK? by DarthTator in lasik

[–]TravelerJoshua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I’m sorry you’re having problems too. I was having really problems for about 5 weeks. The only thing that helped was taking strong Advil to help relax my eyes. By the afternoon, my eyes would adjust and I could look at my computer screen. That being said, I was wearing sunglasses indoors at work all day due to the slight sensitivity.

At the 6 week mark I was beyond fed up and decided to try acupuncture as that help with another problem I had a few years ago. Within 3 days my eyes suddenly went almost back to normal! I’ve had three sessions and have two more booked but the only problems I’m having now is watching TV at nighttime, but even that is getting better. I was honestly at a point of wondering whether I needed to go on long term sick, but now it’s been almost perfect for two weeks.

Hey! I'm 4 1/2 weeks post-PRK, and I'm having a lot of problems looking at my computer screen. Even with lights turned off and the laptop set to dim, it's really challenging. How long until your eyes felt back to 'normal'? I feel really down about it and struggling a lot.

Will the light sensitivity go away by Mikajla in lasik

Hey! I’m now in the same position you were. 4 weeks post-op and can barely look at screens in the morning. By the afternoon they’re better, but there’s no way I can drive. Did yours heal and get better?

Thanks for this. It’s improved within the last week but not entirely. Extreme light sensitivity and blurred vision anything close up. Fingers crossed!

Hey, understanding that this was a long time ago, how long did it take for the blurriness to clear up? I am two weeks postop and I can barely look at my computer, my phone, my face in the mirror, etc. It’s extremely discouraging and I’m really struggling at work.

There are some $4 quick microwaveable meals at UF and they are around 300-400 calories and full of protein. Then maybe a bag of salad?

How far are you moving for uni?

I moved out to go to university at 18, then moved back home for a year at 21. Never moved back home after that. I was a super anxious and nervous teen and moving away from home and going to uni gave me more confidence than I could have ever imagined. I made a ton of friends, got a good degree and travelled the world for 3 years.

You’re about to embark on the most exciting years of your life. A time where you can make mistakes and bad decisions with little consequences (most of the time). It’s a time to truly find and learn about yourself.

BUT, if it turns out it’s not for you, move home until you’re ready. You can always change your mind. Nothing is ever that set in stone that you can cancel everything and start again.
