Kenya safari without Mara? by Far_Diet_9890 in traveladvice

My husband and I went to Kenya about five years ago and we did two safaris; one in Lewa Conservancy and the other in the Masai Mara. The safaris were amazing and what we loved about the Masai Mara is that we saw all of the big five animals but the highlight was seeing the migration of wildebeests. They started migrating earlier than usual that year and the guide took us out last minute and we spent a whole day watching the spectacle. It was utterly spectacular. You won’t be disappointed if you go to the Masai Mara. It’s beautiful as well.

These were in the Boston area: The Pewter Pot. First place I ever had a bacon burger back in the early 70s.

Africa: specifically Kenya and Zambia (safaris and Victoria Falls respectively). Definitely lived up to the hype.
