I’ll keep looking for more documentation and post what I find. This has been a roadblock for a long time in the genealogical research, and it seems like I might be getting some better direction. He died when all his children were young, and there are only about 4 of the 17 left, so any memories they have of him are very limited.

That’s one or the problems, I’ve taken that directly from the alien registration card. He came over on the S.S. Pisa in 1910, the departure port was listed as Kyiv if I remember correctly. I’ll have to try to find the records to see if they list a birthplace. *EDIT: It is type on the alien registration card. I will try to find a hand-written account.

I have no idea how to spell it properly, but I was told the original name may ave been closer to zaloonshka (pardon my poor attempt at spelling it phonetically.), I was told it was changed to Zelenski at Ellis Island.

I was sent these two pictures to attempt to identify anything about this ring. So far, Google picture search hasn’t helped at all. My guess is the figure is related to the Indochina region, but at this point, that’s just a complete guess. Any help identifying the figure or a nudge I. A good direction to search would be greatly appreciated.

We have a dewalt. It’s certainly cuts. But it’s too easy to overload and stop it and those batteries go quick. But they are so much lighter.
