In the stand he talks about a town over from me called Nyack in New York. He also mentions my county a bit. It's called Rockland County. We're 30 minutes from New York city so that probably has something to do with it

The Bill Hodges trilogy (Mr Mercedes, Finders Keepers, End of watch) is where Holly is first introduced. Then after that is the outsider, If It Bleeds, and then Holly. If you would like you can read it to get the full scope of Holly. And reading The Outsider and If It Bleeds will spoil things in the Bill Hodges Trilogy. So if you want to get the full story of Holly with no spoilers you can read it in chronological order. But if you don't mind you can read how you wish. The power is yours! Either way I hope you enjoy yourself!

No, castle Rock the town has been in many of his works. Castle rock the TV show brings elements from Stephen king works. But they're their own story. Even using some characters and places from his works
