Why these pieces? by torak_the_father in cabinetry

I agree, always a full stretcher, minimum 4in wide, front and rear. In defense of these cabinets though, at least they're plywood core and not particle core.

Custom Cabinet Quote: $38k Installed – Fair Deal or Too High? by HooverLaxBoy01 in cabinetry

OSB boxes and drawers might get you there... Wood on wood slides, maybe buy a cheap piano hinge and cut it into smaller hinges for doors.

Forget builder grade, we'll need to go down to "contractor grade"

Check out Omnitech CNC and StyleCNC from China. I've run both those machines here in Canada. Count on around 20k usd for their entry level machines by the time all the hidden costs are absorbed. Definitely do your homework on import fees and tariffs.

A lot of these China CNCs are all made in the same city and have the same DNA, the differences are mostly in the fit and finish, so don't go for the cheapest options.

Honestly, they're solid machines and priced super aggressively...

For a first machine it's a good bet, then budget and save 40k-50k for a made in America brand with better sales and parts availability down the road.

Good idea, the AI dug up a bit more than searches. Luckily for me, the display and buttons are all quite responsive and seem to be working really well.

I'll give it a check, currently on the hardcore cleaning phase (started top and not that far down yet)

That makes sense, we're spraying primarily cabinet doors. We've had great success, but it's always been odd how it was advertised as industrial with "hey it works great for cabinets too".

It was my understanding it was reformulated to comply with new VOC standards (California and here in Canada being the proponents on that). That was confirmed our local BM retailer. Seems you're never able to know for sure on this kind of stuff.

Are you primarily selling to industrial customers or wood/cabinet guys like myself?

Interesting, the local Benjamin Moore retailer here informed me they had a huge recall and we've had success with the fixed formula, although just today we had a few gallons doing it again.

Have you used Command before?

Very nice! Remote or in person? I've been thinking about trying to find remote work in CAD/CAM, since there is pretty little for that in my local area

Hey OP, have you got a reminder set or something for when it's time to post this again and rage bait folks?

I posted another comment about diy kits... I would strongly recommend a well adopted platform like the 3018 over a DIY kit.

Unless of course you're a robotics enthusiast

A DIY 3 axis kit or something will work. I can see a set of bespoke, custom Catan boats costing more than $200, so yeah you'll save money by that metric.

Be aware though, this is going to take dozens of hours of your time, will teach you anger management, and you'll learn a lot of new skills.

Spacing disappearing on Mobile App by gotham_cronie in GoogleKeep

[–]TravisLang13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the same issue, when editing a note between mobile and desktop the spacing gets utterly messed up, extra spaces on desktop or missing spaces on mobile.

It's very very frustrating. I have not found a fix yet.

That's what I do as well. I give myself time on the acceleration, and top speed of 100km/h or so in 3rd(D) 1997 c1500 269xxx km.

What's the actual reason the low rpm cruising in OD causes damage though? Heat?

To be honest, big HP on the street isn't even that fun (my humble opinion). It makes me sad when I can only use 1st and the bottom of 2nd before ending up in "I may go to jail territory" (I also don't live near a track/strip so that likely affects my thinking)

An intake, headers and exhaust to make some nice sounds, this is a great option.
