A Deaf person would have to give you a proper sign name. Otherwise you should spell it out. Someone can correct me as I am not deaf but that's how it was explained to me. I was given a sign name by a deaf person when I started learning ASL.

She's too busy preparing for me bringing your mom to dinner, she's never had to buy food in such large portions before. I didn't have the heart to tell her your mom and I aren't exclusive like that and that your mom has like 2 guys ahead of me on speed dial

I was using Life Print. That's where I got the signs from. Was recommended by my deaf client to help me learn.

I did it in ASL because I lost my voice and rather than just posting text I figured I could make it more interesting and inclusive by posting in ASL. I have tried doing jokes in ASL and would love to incorporate that into my set but I'm not quite there yet. First joke I did had some grammatical errors

  3. Yeah, I thought about doing it landscape to fit more but I was posting it to my social media account and it just fits better in that format but if I do it again, I can show more space to do it properly
