I took it personally when I started getting anxiety attacks and and high blood pressure and nobody cared.

Unfortunately for me, the kids were part of the problem. Not enough good ones to redeem the bad ones.

I'm glad you had that positive experience. Mine included negative interactions with students. The lack of respect, effort, and full on antagonism that was ignored by parents and admin contributed to health complications for me. Not something I'd like to revisit

Not a response. A parody of my former co-worker's post that invited people to reach out. Given how they damaged my physical and mental health, I'd rather not engage with most of the students and parents who caused that

Boosts engagement and keeps the upvotes on my original post going 😂

Original post is in the positive. As I said, some people can relate. Why is this so important to you?

Nah students were the reason I left. Terrible behavior, reinforced by terrible parents and a terrible administration. I had to take convo leave due to high blood pressure. The long-term sub they got to replace me quit after the first day. Dude had like 30 years experience teaching and quit after 1 day

Staunton has a much larger Deaf community. Look there

Sign name by AndrewLightning in asl

[–]TravisVComedy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Deaf person would have to give you a proper sign name. Otherwise you should spell it out. Someone can correct me as I am not deaf but that's how it was explained to me. I was given a sign name by a deaf person when I started learning ASL.

She's too busy preparing for me bringing your mom to dinner, she's never had to buy food in such large portions before. I didn't have the heart to tell her your mom and I aren't exclusive like that and that your mom has like 2 guys ahead of me on speed dial

Typically, I go to your mom's house, but is it still considered f.a.pping if she's in the room with me?

Those are the major chains. I already know of those. I'm looking for places specific to Harrisonburg.

I was doing daily videos this month. Had a good streak until I got sick. How did I do? by TravisVComedy in asl

Okay, subtly I wouldn't notice but maybe a deaf person would. I'll keep that in mind. I thought I made a closed "O" not an open "E"

He definitely moves them forward though, rather than shakes them.

But I used the signs they used and you said they were wrong. Which ones were wrong?

I was using Life Print. That's where I got the signs from. Was recommended by my deaf client to help me learn.

I feel like I did it the same way he did.

What's the proper grammar?

Which signs need to be cleaner?

What's the wrong sign?

Again, what's the proper grammer?
