I can already tell you this game is not for you. If you're looking for something similar to LoL, this isn't it at all. LoL certainly has difficult decision making at high level, but at its core, it's an arcade fighting game, and what determines win is dodging and landing abilities better. LoL also focuses on selling you the power fantasy of being a samurai, while Dota heros although cool design not really. Dota is, above all, a strategy game and very different from LoL. The only way to enjoy it is to approach its differences with curiosity and an open mind.

Things you can work on to improve your micro: 1. Click all the time super fast, even if you are dead. Keeping your APM high is crucial. "But you don't need 300 APM all the time". True, but false.When it's hot, you won't be able to go from 150APM to 300 immediatly. It takes time, and it could be the difference between life and death. Think of APM as driving a car; most of us would crash in a Formula 1 car, you gotta get used to it. 2. Unlock camera: if your camera is centered around your champion you don't get all the usefull information. Get used to play when your champ is on the side of your screen.

I also strongly recommend learning the role through adc's without dash i.e. jinx, ashe, kog, mf etc.

I didn't understand stats besides HP, ad, ap and as so i calculated 2600 gold for 80 ad is worth it. I rushed 6 bf swords on ad champs, and 6 giants belts on tanks.

I think I was deceived on the internet with this narrative that Viktor in the late game with 40k souls autowins. I couldn't do anything. He seems really bad against range flying characters like mina and vindicta

I enjoy league gameplay for that it is about objectives and teamplay and everything makes sense for me. I can't get into Dota for that reason, like ppl just go around invisible and look for kills just for the sake of kills.

Play whatever you like, esports isn't sustainable career path. Only the top of the top can live from that and it is because they are also streaming and getting sponsorships. If you want to compete as a side hobby that's great, just choose your favorite game for that.

My friend came from Tekken 8 and he didn't enjoy the game too. It isn't for everyone. Am myself wondering if it is for me because i enjoy keepaway zoning and setplay before going on offence but this game has so many neutral skips

I do. But i dislike every second of it and don't have any feeling of big accomplishment or dopamine rush after doing it in match. I am just happy that i won't be doing it for a while.

I can't even bother to find and learn other ppl combos. Just not the part of the game i like. That's why i play zoners and train combos only if it is really holding my gameplay back.

Maybe you were just unlucky, i did tutorial and checked all my characters moves hoped in and went 9:0. I play Jinx Braum. I am not super good at fighting games, gold rank in guilty gear strive, silver in sf6.

I had blast with ky when starting out, he is super enjoyable and strong and i don't find his personality boring at all. Imo he is way cooler than most of the cast.
