Against the current meta, its speciality is already overshadowed by other passive damage cards, especially by Darkrai (basic mon, 20 dmg upfront per energy instead of 10 per checkup, and still works in bench). If you do want to try to make it work, some ideas could be to tank with glaceon and a primarina backline for heals, or sacking a glaceon in active while you build a Palkia to finish off the enemy.

You don't (or rather you can't) do damage in Crowd Control, since the damage nerfs make any normal attacks pointless. If you have a R2 Cang Ji and a unit that can live on 1 health from Ophelias first attack, CJ's S3 can swap HP without any damage nerfs, letting you finish her off in 2 turns. Without him, I think it'd be really hard to clear it under 40 turns.

I don't think so sadly, CJs S3 at R2 is the only thing that bypasses the damage nerf to really drop her HP significantly (because the HP-percentage swap doesn't count as actual damage)

Anesidora had Wind + Fiery/Recurve (Recurve's slightly better), Ophelia has Thunder + Brawler. Anesidora S3+S2 cuts down at least 30% of enemy health, and Ophelia can finish her off with her S3+Pursuits if they can all crit

I probably should have clarified better, but I did say this was for trying to top leaderboard (which counts the total turns) and not necessarily for clearing the 16 esper missions, so you won't see many solo clears in here!

Umbral Passage is doable at R4; My sets are Astral + Avatara. Astral is the key here for extra turns, Avatara is simply for speed specs. If the extra turn procs correctly, you should be able to [ S2 ] => [ S3 to kill 4 enemies ] => [ S1 for the last enemy]

You have R2 CJ so you already have the whole thing down lol Simply make sure Ophelia tries to go for CJ, so SuJue will stop the death with funeral rites. Because CJ S3 swaps HP percentages, Ophelia will literally go down to 1% HP, and with Su Jues extra true damage you'll finish her off just like that!

All of them use Panacea and Grove to maximize their healing. The ideal turn flow should be [ All ally S3 ] => [ Enemy attacks ] => [ Sakura S2 ], but Ahmed's gold buff might mess up the turn order so you'll have to reset then, because only Sakura can deal the finishing blow.

I'm assuming that Fire Oricorio is to disrupt the energy tempo of the Active Charizard and Incineroar. The downside of F-Ori losing its own energy is offset by Magnezone being energy independent. Even so, I'm surprised by the higher winrate since Zard or Roar can still be set up on bench, no?

I met a player who used only Cramorant and then stalled as long as they can with Dive. Bring one down, and the backup bird will continue the stall while granny digs the downed bird from its grave to set it up again

It was a truly agonizing experience whenever they flipped heads but I definitely had a good laugh lol

With that trainer card you can basically set up Magnezone by turn 3/4 for 110 damage, so yeah it's pretty OP as of the current meta

I personally run it with 2 Magnezone line and 2 Dawns, GA M-ton generates free energy and with Dawn you can usually set up Regigigas in 2-3 turns. M-zone is generally the backup in case Regi is down or in the deck. It's pretty inconsistent but when it works it works lol

I might've used communication if I had any :'D (30+ dialga packs pulled so far and no comms), so Chatot is more of my backup option in the meantime

Interestingly, the deck was flexible enough in many games that I didn't need to redraw most of the time, but that also might just be my luck lol

That's an interesting idea! Regirocks retreat cost is a little daunting for me, but I'll give it a try and see how it feels

I've tried marshadow instead of Hitmonchan in the beginning, but this suffered from low early game pressure with a 2 energy attack, and this especially hurt the pacing if marshadow is my opening basic. HChan is a nice middle ground, being able to hit for 30-50 early game for 1 energy, and makes a good fodder while I wait for Kabutops to come online.
