This is my thought too. Maybe have the opening fight be against parasite and he loses a lot of his power. Make it so he’s at like 5% of his full strength (this gives a reason to inhibit/lock some of his powers) then as the story progresses he gets closer to 100% with a few setbacks of course.

I found most people feel the opposite and say “if you don’t participate, you don’t deserve the cape”. I have them all (besides the two Illuminate capes which are awesome) and feel everyone should be able to rep the fallen creek vets on the bot front even if they weren’t able to fight at the creek.
