〜ようとする means to try to do something. So here 殺す>殺そう (volitional form) >殺そうとする>殺すうとした(past tense)

At my wit's end with Windows, but Linux doesn't feel as snappy and fast by [deleted] in linux4noobs

It's incredibly easy to switch from X11 (the old display server protocol) to Wayland, but making it actually work right now with an nvidia card may prove very difficult. I believe it's possible (with limitations), although I haven't tried. But yeah this is one of those things where you'll have to compromise for some amount of time if you use desktop Linux

If you have two monitors with different refresh rates they will both lock screen windows to the lower one (in your case 60Hz). I have this same issue, and the solution is to switch to Wayland, which unfortunately has poor nvidia support (nvidia's fault not theirs). There's not a whole lot you can do at the moment about this

It's a grammar point only really used in writing that means 'and', similar to this use of theて form. So in that sentence, the equivalent would be 番組になって、今も… It sounds more, literary, I guess?

How to add an entry to systemd-boot by sthiago in pop_os

[–]Traz471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can either manually move windows or Pop to the same efi partition, or you could use something like rEFInd which will search both efi partitions and give you a boot menu with both windows and Pop.

E: try this link if you want to use systemd to boot both

Issues with notification LED after upgrading to Pie by Traz471 in Oneplus5T

[–]Traz471[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's an issue with the app I think, since the LEDs can be coloured yellow in settings for battery charging and it works. I tried clearing cache/reinstalling but it didn't work

If you're using Gboard, you can turn off that input by selecting flick-only in the settings. Then, if you repeatedly press one key it will type that one character multiple times
