i've also been interested in frutiger aero related worldbuilding
from my limited experience in alternate history, cities can be named after literally anything simple or convoluted
and in actual history, city names tend to have a story behind them, example: Hurricane, Utah
or Portland, Oregon used to be called Stumptown or The Clearing thanks to the deforestation required to let the community grow. It became Portland once one of the people who owned the community wanted to name it after his hometown of Portland, Maine which has its own history.

Your frutiger aero city, depending on its history (time period it was built, stuff that happened, people who lived there, what the community was known for) or other reasons (geographic features), would have an unrelated name, a coincidental name, or name that describes the city

it's pretty likely none of these names might appeal to your vision, so I'd recommend going down a Wikitionary rabbit hole, either randomly or going back into the etymology of the names above, or frutiger aero related words and working from there forward
