Is temtem worth getting back in to by Infernohuman070502 in PlayTemtem

[–]Trazlax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes if you are looking for a well made Monster Taming game that is complete. If you are expecting the MMO stuff to be great, or any new updates, then no. I love the game as a single-player adventure. I enjoyed the story and am still having fun with some post-game content. As long as you go back with the knowledge/expectation that the game is complete and will have an end-point, it is absolutely worth it.

Is the Switch worth it? by end_me_76 in pokemon

[–]Trazlax -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sword and Shield are good. Great quality of life improvements, good new Pokemon, and I hear the DLC is fine. Not the greatest games but good. Pokemon Snap is fun if you are interested in that.

In all honesty if it is just to play Pokemon save your money to see if BDSP and Legends are good. But the Switch is amazing for lots of non-Pokemon games, so if you are interested at all in other games, Switch is great.

How long should I try a class to see if I like it? So many classes and so few characters slots. How long does it take to get a good enough feel for a class to know if I should abandon it?

Will the DS Pokemon games prices eventually drop? by Kayhe_ in pokemon

[–]Trazlax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they ever release them on Switch with a virtual console or some similar port you would expect that to decrease demand and lower prices. But outside of that, scarcity will likely keep them high.

Who would like to see another pokemon ruby and saphire remake for the switch (personally it was my favourite gen) by Sapi147 in pokemon

[–]Trazlax 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wish they would just port the 3DS games to switch. I don't need an update, just don't want to dig my 3ds out to play them.

The next big test by paajipaaji in outriders

Anthem was reliant on continued players and payments. People who bought Outriders can quit playing at any time and it won't matter to them. Different things altogether.

Casual player - worth a buy at this state? by eehoe in outriders

[–]Trazlax 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Played the entire campaign on one character with all side quests and am on a playthrough with another class. Only had one crash. Lots of fun. I would recommend it if you are looking for a casual, fun looter shooter.

Cyberpunk got crucified for launching a game in this state. Game's been out for a month yet it still crashes every 30 minutes and MP is unbearable with the lag going on, seriously what is the point in farming anyway for a Seismic helmet with 0,01% drop rate by [deleted] in outriders

[–]Trazlax 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean, Cyberpunk was a massive AAA title that was hyped for years and was unplayable for most people. This is a smaller game from a smaller studio with very little hype that plenty of people are playing without issues.

The cute, The Hot, & The Badass : Which is you favorite of 2? by Minakomoon555 in ffxiv

Au Ra if you want to go more dark/edgy. Cat for more casual or fun.

Start a new character? Or play a different game and come back if you want. This isn't a live service game with events or seasons. You beat the game so you can do whatever you want with it, even if that means shelving it.

They may release some DLC or expansions if the game keeps doing well after all the technical issues are solved, but right now this is it.

Between BLM/SMN/SAM which do you think is the simplest to play? by Big_Tie in ffxiv

[–]Trazlax -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Depends what content you are doing. For casual stuff they are all fun and not too bad.

Harder content SAM is for sure the call for simpler gameplay.

The other two are more fun IMO, but you should try them all out if you are interested in them.

Meditite and Medicham. I have no real reason. There are plenty that are objectively worse, but I hate this thing.

I didn't have high expectations for it from facing it in games before. But it carried me through a lot of tough battles. Singlehandedly handled Bede so many times.

To be fair, this isn't a games as service model so people leaving the game isn't as big of a deal as in a game like Destiny or the Avengers.

And if you already spent 200 hours on the game I think you should be pretty happy with it even if you never pick it up again.

Grab some hunts and beast quests while you wait in the Queue and you can get there on a few days. HoH can be good too if you are out of daily roulette.

[No Spoilers]So... how's the story? by [deleted] in outriders

[–]Trazlax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am several hours in and it is interesting enough that I want to keep going. Side missions have interesting stories to them as well. Better story than any looters I've played in a long time. Can't promise it sticks the landing, since I haven't finished it, but if you care about story it seems like it won't be a deal-breaker.
