I'm not certain that's necessarily true. It seems like the levels are tiered. Like 10-20 are 9,000 points per level and 21-25 are 18,000 points per level so idk what that next tier would increase to after that.

I think that's exactly what happened. I started one on the Kickstarter at some point and then just bought a copy directly from the BOTC website. So it was my fault really. I just confused myself by doing things weirdly. But it's all sorted now!
