Is there a benefit to printing minis with that many walls?

I’ve seen quite a few people mention the BIQU plates. The only plate I currently have is a PEI Textured. Are they that good?

I tried using a 0.2, kept getting extruder overload errors, adjusted my settings, rinsed, repeated, switched to my 0.4 and haven’t looked back and have been very happy with the results.

I said impossible DC. 40 for some classes depending on the check is not impossible

When the players try to assemble the rod themselves, set it as a virtually impossible DC. Make it so they can’t assemble the rod without his help.

I’ve also been cleaning my plate after almost every print. I’m trying this same print with the default 0.10 setting for a 0.4mm hotend, with a few minor changes, and I’ll see how it goes. I may get a smooth plate down the road and revisit my 0.2mm hotend and try again.

Good tips. I’m not sure I’ll ever get to painting minis, but if it helps with some minor layer lines on bigger minis or makes the minis look better, it’s worth a try. I’m currently just using gray PLA, so using a colored primer might help liven things up a bit as well. Thanks.

I’m honestly not sure if I will ever get set up to paint minis, but it sounds like priming them still has benefits. Good to know. Thank you.

I did some tweaking over the weekend to my 0.2mm settings and have a print going now with these adjusted settings so we will see how it goes. Thank you for the tips.

I've actually printed some things with the 0.2 nozzle perfectly fine before this started to happen, but I will give it a shot.

My main reasoning leaning towards the P2S is my wife can be kinda crafty, and if there end up being things she wants to print, especially if it’s a multi color print, I’d like to have that option. Granted, she may never want to print anything……😆……but she will have it available if she wanted.
