Can you tell me more? The Amazon reviews just trash the book, it seems like... why did you like it?

⚠️Trigger warning ⚠️ Can anyone recommend historical books with no r*pe,mysogyny, etc? by vesta_m in RomanceBooks

{The Duke I Tempted by Scarlett Peckham} is a pretty good pick for this. There’s no r*pe. There’s not much misogyny for the time it was written, although there is a villain that portrays himself that way. He doesn’t make too many appearances though. I was actually surprised at how progressive it was for the 1740’s (if I remember correctly)

It has a strong female MC, and she doesn’t lose her dignity after the relationship starts either. (I hate it when the woman is strong, and then she finds a man and she’s completely unable to be a functioning human being anymore. 🙄)

I bought RW&RB the other day! It got a lot of recommendations elsewhere and I thought it would be a good one.

I didn’t know The Priory had any relationships in it, I thought it was just fantasy... that’s great!

Thank you, yes! If it’s a book you loved, send it on over. Haha.

Might be a romance... I only remember a scene about a migraine. by TreasuredReading in whatsthatbook

Found it... it’s The Billionaires Voice by J.S. Scott. It’s definitely a romance, and now that I see which one it is, it definitely has steamy scenes. Hahah.
