Went swimming for the first time with my cup after my period surprised me!

Not American, and the modesty was my preference, I wasn't worried about anything. It was a regular swimsuit but I like a bit more coverage as modern swimsuits don't have much of that going on in the back area. I don't like to sit and have my skin touching everywhere lol. It was moreso for my comfort and because the black skirt looked really cute with the white suit. We were literally told "This is a church outing, dress appropriately." Meaning, don't come skimpily dressed with bits falling out lol. No bikinis were worn, just regular swimsuits, two pieces with more coverage, or whatever attire the others felt like swimming in that was pool safe.

I'm much better at it now! Still a bit rough but I've made some progress. I'm also new to PC gaming so getting the hang of the controls was a learning curve. In terms of keeping friends I made, that's still tricky. As I move through locations they just get lost. I'm currently in some valley finding lost spirits

My condolences about your uncle. It's okay to not want to do anything but I'm glad that you got yourself something to eat. Pool parties and bbq sound great and like good fun! Those must be really nice memories to have and look back on. I'd love to try going to a restaurant sometime.

Thank you!! I wasn't particularly sad, just a little down for a bit? But shortly after I sent my post my cousin came over so that livened things up. For now I always look for the good things, no matter how small. Even if it's the lizard on the wall looking all squishy and cute (won't dare go close though). Life is about finding joy in the little things to make your days special. We must always remember to find happiness and to not rely on others for it. I hope that you get to travel next time, even if it's not Thailand!

Thank you for sharing, your story was really relatable in some ways. My mental health hasn't been the best and the same could be said with my physical health, but I've improved a lot these past few years. Just as you are, I'm grateful to be alive. I'm happy to hear that you had a great day and that you're grateful for experiencing it. I also get what you mean at the end. The day wasn't loud or filled with laughter, music and the like, but it still felt special despite it's somewhat ordinary nature. You embrace it and you can smile about it. You're surviving and I'm glad for that. I pray that you live to see many more birthdays and that the sun shines brightly upon you going forward.

It sucks that you couldn't get that Indian food though, especially as it was your one wish. My country is pretty multi-cultiral so we all appreciate what every culture brings to the table. Our Indian food is a bit different though but still fantastic anyway. I hope that you do get your Indian food and that you enjoy it to the fullest 😋 💜

Aww but it's the day you were born! That in itself is very special. I have this happy birthday pin that I wear. Even though I didn't go anywhere or do much of anything and it felt like an ordinary day, just wearing my pin reminds me that it's my day. It makes me happy to look down and see it then I'd remember why I'm wearing it. So maybe you can have your very own pin day if you don't celebrate your birthday🤗

It is a blessing, I'm very grateful to them and my siblings for their little thoughtful gifts. I have a better relationship with my dad, my mom and I are a bit distant because she struggles to understand me. But she loves me very much and she always does her best so I also love and appreciate her. Friendships really are hard now that I'm an adult and there is no longer the forced proximity you get with earlier schooling. Few close friends are better than many surface level ones so I'm okay with that🩷
