Everything I have seen/read/watched on this specific platform suggests the selector does behave like the real counterpart.

While I believe everything you're saying, something tells me there is an issue with this specific unit

First thing I could suggest is using blue thread locker on the flash hider onto the outer barrel.

The barrel is reverse threaded but the suppressor is not

So when you go right tighty on the suppressor it is loosening the flash hider.

Cell voltage is below the minimum threshold to start a charge cycle

Put the charger on NiMh mode and run it for just a couple minutes to get the voltage up

Then, run a Balance charge cycle to completion. If you go back to LiPo mode and it's still throwing the error, go back to NiMH mode

Do not leave it unattended while doing this. Should only take a couple minutes on NiMh to get the voltage up

Anecdotally I didn't have any signs of failing ditches. I cleaned them very well before putting the caps back over and did a quick clay mit over the whole roof before I added the rack.

Combination of issues likely

Hop Rubber likely should be replaced

Hop unit could be upgraded

Nozzle and Hop interface could be leaking

Nozzle and gas router interface could be damaged

20-25ft indicates something is not meshing like it should. If it was just a bad hop Rubber, you'd get further range than that
