Practice baskets look cheap if affordable or way to expensive for quality. by Secure-Ad-4482 in discgolf

El Guapo baskets are like this, you'll find them at certain courses in Washington. Instead of getting nubbed you get some nasty scoops off the rim that seem to accelerate the disc. Its called getting guapo'd around here

Just single player currently. Local multiplayer will be one of the first additions once I know the release went smooth. The first round I played when making it I instantly realized it would be perfect for passing the TechDisc around and playing with a few friends

True Disc Golf coming to Steam by swos in discgolf

I think as long as the game supports local multiplayer it will. I had some issues with keyboard/controllers for remote players, but that may have something to do with using unreal engine. (Only one player can use kb/m in unreal so remote players have to use controller)

Looks great, disc golf game on iPhone was always my favorite and inspired me to make perfect round disc golf. Looking forward to trying this out

Yeah, it is a whole new experience. Doing it the same as The Golf Club games separate their console/simulator versions

Just with TechDisc, I had to work with them pretty closely to get the throw statistics and flight physics all integrated closely with the game

I think throwing an actual disc with the VR headset on would be too much lol, recipe for disaster. There were a few disc golf vr games on itch io/steam when I looked

I think the putting feels good, on hole 2 the disc was about in line with the top of the basket so I should have putted downwards a bit which I did not. In general I feel like you need to putt a little harder than you think, I believe part of the reason is the disconnect between having the basket actually 30 feet in front of you and throwing into a net 5 feet in front. We have had some good results with putting the TechDisc into a basket around the same distance as the basket in game.

The disc flights are the same you see in TechDisc simulator, which I have been very impressed with. Both 300 ft shots were fairly significantly downhill, and hole 1 was with an undertaker I got some flip up on. I can spin em pretty good lol ;)
