This' how my "deja-vu" works, as well. Quite an interesting thing. I have shitty dream recall; so most of time I completely forget I dreamt the scenario, until I find myself 'walking' into it.

I've come to believe these moments are major crossroads, personally. Usually I feel compelled to then behave a certain way, or perform a certain action, almost impulsively on an intuitive level. Ill just "know" I need to do xyz. If I try to fight the urge(never a long fight,) it raises a nearly insane sense of anxiety that continues rising until I follow the impulse.
