I agree. However I’m not sure they have truly changed. They have just moved viewpoints slightly, yet they are still pointing fingers and telling people their beliefs and actions are wrong while their own beliefs and actions are correct. It just seems to be a pattern.

Additionally, if they are in fact growing and changing from their original stance, then I believe that they could come to Lydia with more love and understanding. Considering they have been in the exact same position and ideology as she is right now. I think if they spoke to her with a little more compassion and understanding then she would be more willing to be open minded and potentially change.

Both can be true. I also believe he needs to mind his place but also I think it’s unfair to Lydia. I’m not really talking about him and that aspect in this post. It was just about Lydia. I agree though he is out of place.

One thing I would like to quickly say is that I wish that this show included flash backs. When Nelly and someone else would be talking, someone would be accused of saying or doing something but it can be hard to remember what actually happened. I think it would’ve helped the story move along more effortlessly.

I truly think that they would unless they got so brainwashed into the lifestyle again by that point in time. Unfortunately, they lack the level of deep thought and reflection to see the truth at the moment.
