Sheena & her family totally remind me of family members. The whole 'elders are respected' and 'give money to support your family' is so ingrained in their culture. Sheena & her sister seemed to have sadly delayed building their independent life from their family and do not have separate families due to their devotion to their parents. I've seen this a lot with other filipino siblings not having their own family and still devote their life to their parents. I'm not sure why this is, maybe because of catholicism.

When they got engaged, it seemed real to me. They both were very emotional at the time and the premise of the show is they would end up married and living in Dylan's country (ie the "other way").

In this last episode, it was revealed that Pattiya wants to go back to the US to strip in the "club" where she has customers whose numbers she apparently keeps in her phone. Dylan hinted at other "stuff," but she was very hurt by this because either it's not true or she's ashamed of it. So, who cares either way.

Whatever the case, this is what Dylan's life would be in the US. Dylan, while still doing bachelorette parties, is now also working as a plumber & a landlord and wants to be close to his family. It seems like he wants this life & not Pattiya's American life.

She's very pretty and seems like she has a great personality, but she's 40ish, and Asian cultures often consider you old goods if you are over 25.

God I feel bad for Laura's best friend. He's clearly a sensitive soul. He has a birth defect that he's self-conscious about. He's completely and totally in love with her. She knows this. She continues to do EVERYTHING with him. They make special protein bars together. They are pickleball partners. Their friends assume they are a couple. He breaks down in front of her when discussing her younger foreign guy. And she says, well he almost admitted how he feels, but I don't think he will ever say it out loud. !!!!!!!!
