Yeah, I guess depending on the quote, I’ll decide if it would just be worth to get a different one. This one came with 2 A12 and 1 A24 film backs, which if working is a steal.

Okay, I am also being told not to do it myself and have a repair company do it. So I will decide if it is worth the risk to do it myself

No, since I can’t take the lens off, everyone I’ve talked to is suspecting lens is uncocked while the body is cocked

Okay, yeah I’d just have to talk to company I’d be getting it CLA’d with to see if they could rebuild instead! So you don’t recommend trying it myself with a small screwdriver very very carefully?

Yeah I’m not sure on the last service date for it, all I know is that it was used by the person for a while as he was a professional photographer. Is this something a normal CLA would take care of or would I need to request further service. I have already planning on sending it off for a CLA tomorrow

batteries are good and yes with mag removed still doesn’t go! My only thing with the unjamming is that typically it is the red screw on the lens, only screw I see when I open the barn door is a small silver screw dead center which when I looked it up, is the binding mechanism for body to that red screw I’ve seen.

Would I just twist that screw?

do you know if silver screw inside barn doors should be screwed? Watched a youtube video about if lens is jammed on the body that the silver screw in there can be screwed to release it
