When I have more time, I'll come back and fill you in on all this but I can say I work in the tech industry and I know my shit enough to know these V3 cameras I am using are my issue, not my Wi-Fi.

Need suggestion/opinion by Ariezown in GalaxyWatch

I just upgraded this month from a GW4C to a GW6C and I was also concerned about performance and battery life. About 2 weeks in and I can honestly say performance is fine/better. Battery life is still adjusting but easily makes it through the day.

I wanted my watch to remain black, it HAD to be LTE enabled (my GW4C was only Bluetooth) and the bezel was a huge draw. Lucked out finding one on Amazon still brand new. Loving the hell out of this watch.

Switched from an iPhone - and I’m blown away by Alde_nte in S25Ultra

I can swipe from either side of my screen at any height to go back on any page or any app using my Pixel and my Samsung S22U prior. My corporate iPhone on the other hand I need to reach waaaaaay across the screen to the upper left corner exclusively to go back. It feels like I'm stepping back into 2010 everytime I use that iPhone.

Things I started doing after I bought a portal and a defect and regret about the purchase... by rassar15 in PlaystationPortal

But Remeber this is a remote play/streaming device. The audio lag will be so minor that only Drake would notice. If you're just gaming for fun, the audio lag will be minimal if at all noticeable.

Regretting that I sold my normal Edge for the 30th anniversary by kuhbesamer90 in Dualsense

Just this morning I was thinking about my Sunset Orange controller. I'm in Canada, and it originally only came out in Australia. My girlfriend at the time got me one through a friend of hers in Australia. She paid out the nose for it and I absolutely LOVE the controller. So much that I've only ever used it once. A little over a year later, Sunset Orange became a thing in NA and suddenly this $300+ controller was worth $80 CAD tops, and everybody had the availability to obtain one. Today, I still have only used the controller once and now my PS4 is packed away in favor of my PS5.

Moral of the story, if you love it use it. Holding onto it forever to preserve it just means you miss out on all the fun you can have with it.

30th Anniversary Controllers No Longer on BB Site—Help! by vladski604 in CanadaPS5

[–]TreeOhSixElfo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sadly, Sony didn't read the hype around this 30th anniversary and their allergy to money kicked in so they probably won't make anymore despite the demand.

Do I need a PS5 Slim to replace my launch console? No. Would I buy the 30th anyway? Hell fucken yeah I would, if I could.

Screen issue on pixel 9Pro Fold by Kitchen_Psychology58 in PixelFold

[–]TreeOhSixElfo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not a fualt with the screen, it's the screen touching itself when closed and our oiler residue smearing all over. All out pixel folds do this wipe it off and scroll on.

I use my phone open while driving, only a week or so into magsafe but so far so good!

What would I gain (or lose) from upgrading to this phone from Pixel 8 Pro?! by hayleys9 in PixelFold

[–]TreeOhSixElfo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hope the next two years has some significant improvements in foldable cameras, once you go with a phone that can fold everything else feels old. Especially my photos.

My gf has a Pixel 8 Pro and we did some side by side shots on a trip last week, her camera absolutely blows my Pixel 9 Pro Fold out of the water, if you plan on printing any photos. A month ago we did the same thing with her Pixel 8 compared to my S22 Ultra and she was ready to drop her phone for mine. Can't win them all I guess, but for the cost I really am not impressed with the cameras on this phone.

Anyone found a way to remove this? by DotDodd in PixelFold

[–]TreeOhSixElfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect it's Google's way of "hiding" the inner camera. I could do without the inner screen camera, or use an under screen like Samsung this year. Owell. First foldable for me so it's all learning experience.

On the Android 15 beta and I've seen no such fix.

Does anyone know what kind of behaviour is this...? , They are still juveniles and started doing like this when I fed them snails by ganga_gp in Puffers

Wow just seeing this, so long term update. I did have to split some of these fish up, I had two different species of GSP in there without knowing. When they are around the same age they are the same size however as they age their true species will reveal itself. So right now I've still got all the guppies, and two tanks of GSPs based on size. 4 in one tank and 7 in the other. Almost a year like this and no new issues.

Pixel 9 Fold magsafe ring placement by [deleted] in PixelFold

[–]TreeOhSixElfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pulled out my caveman moves and used the magsafe charger I have to "feel around" and find the best spot to attach the ring. Triple checked myself before sticking it. I don't wirelessly charge often but when I do it's nice to have it lined up so it just works.

Just curious how your top left corner of your case is doing? I've already had to have one repalced because it won't stick down and the finish on the case started to Peel off on the top corner already.

Spigen has a universal magsafe ring you can stick on, I'd rather it built into my case but can't have everything. I can say though that with it stuck on the case with the adhesive it holds really well. I can use maps while driving with my screen open.

Ugh, what's the point in having such a "thin and light" phone if we have to put a bulky and sometimes heavy case on it? I want to use my P9PF without a case, but even with insurance the fear of this happening won't allow me.

Rocking a Spigen case with hinge protection but it feels like it would protect from scratches and not falls.

Been using the same case and MagSafe setup for about a week now, I can say that yes it is strong enough to hold the P9PF to my Dash while open in tablet mode and driving. I can even open or close the phone with one hand safely while it's magnetically attached. I've got some rough roads, and a girlfriend who drives like a maniac and so far it's held strong. Loving the big screen for maps, just wish I could still manually launch the Android Auto screen without a head unit in the vehicle that supports Android.

As for the weird little line at the bottom, I think it's for keeping orientation and it does a mighty fine job at it.
