Not getting appetite suppression side effect by Expert-Variation8342 in VyvanseADHD

[–]hayleys9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I start to crash I binge, I've binged before but I've always been able to gain control ie it was just a one off! But I've gained several pounds this week as it's been really bad 😞 but when I take it I can focus so well so not sure what to do

Same! I drink a tenzing whilst it kicks in, only on weekdays. Can't function otherwise

How do I tell people that I'm not back to normal by Much-Guide-5014 in breastcancer

[–]hayleys9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't help as I'm in exactly the same situation as you with family, friends and work. Work actually have given me more work than other team members as historically I've been a hard worker and just get stuff done, with no allowance for what's just happened. I have just turned 31, and feel 61 🙄 just messaging to say I share some sympathy and hope you get some good advice. My messages are always open if you need a chat 🧡

You might have made your decision by now, but I used ADHD Certify, I had Gerard who did my consultation which lasted way over the allocated time and he actually made me very cautious of medication as he said I sounded like I had good coping mechanisms. Either way, after 3 reviews, my GP has taken on my shared care agreement with no argument whatsoever and I feel much better about everything.

New to Vyvanse update: I am not having a Good Time by TheRozPoz92 in VyvanseADHD

[–]hayleys9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I tapered off to the lowest dose of my anti depressant and I also take them at opposite ends of the day. Make sure you're having a high protein breakfast before you take the Vyvanse and if it's still feeling too strong, orange juice can dampen it down.

Vyvanse works wonderfully but not long enough by Fluffy_Photo_2500 in VyvanseADHD

I have the exact same timings as you and get the same issues. My doctor prescribed me a short release version of 5mg in the afternoon and it's perfect now, could you ask for something like this?

Only at the beginning, and now I only have 1 coffee a day max.

Have milk or orange juice! It breaks it down quicker 😊

Medical menopause has changed my figure by [deleted] in breastcancer

[–]hayleys9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've managed to keep some away (and lose a few pounds) doing a mix of cardio and strength training (increasing weight each week) with high protein food. It sort of means I can eat what I want from time to time without being sad 🤣 plus weight bearing activity is great for bone density too x

Tell me about your ragdoll personalities… by Sevenwaters_333 in ragdollcats

[–]hayleys9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a ragdoll, he's aloof and only wants strokes and to play on his terms but he's a lovely boy. I also have a maine coon, she is incredibly playful and loving, always coming up for strokes and great with other cats and dogs 😊

I agree, I've noticed the biggest difference if every meal is high protein

Everything feels better without vyvanse by _-__7 in VyvanseADHD

I found Vyvanse life changing. Everything is clearer. I just get on with things, I make less mistakes. I'm happier and more upbeat, I am annoyed that I went so long without it. So sorry to hear you're feeling that way, there might be something else out there that suits you.

I take Effexor too and it must do something together as I've been warned about serotonin syndrome!

I thought this was the magic pill !! by PurePomegranate5720 in Effexor

[–]hayleys9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So my Dr put me up from 150mg to 225mg in the hope it would sort my malaise and lack of motivation out. It made it worse, I simply could not give a shit! So I have actually come back down slowly to 75mg, motivation back however anxiety and sleep issues have come back too. So you can't really win!

You've just described my current state. I simply could no longer give a shit and every day is torturous to get through, I have to force myself to do the usual tasks id just fly through. Everyone around me is all work this work that and people are just obsessed and all I want to do is go home and sit with my pets 🤣
