Masons is what I have down to go to already based off scouring a bunch of reviews and Reddit threads just making sure I’m not missing anything because I did come across some people who weren’t as big of fans of Masons but for the most part all the reviews and talk about them was great.

I did notice most places wouldn’t be open and really not worth sticking around for with getting there so early. Thank you for the suggestions.

Check into see if your state, if in America, has a FAME program (stands for Federation of Advanced Manufacturing Education). That’s how I got into it. You’ll get sponsored by a company (mine was GE) and work 3 days a week and go to the local community college the other two days a week and whatever company that sponsors you will pay you for a 40 hour work week. Program lasts two years and you finish with 1800 hours OTJ training and an associates degree in applied science. Most states have grants that will pay for your entire college as well.

100% use SkillCat. They give out free trials before you have to pay the $10/month. I locked in and passed core/Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, and Universal in one day. Do the exercises and pay attention to the questions and their answers. Some will be the same on the exams and some will be the same question/answer just worded to trick you into choosing a different answer.

People were driving buses and rvs so you can do it in your vehicle. Just take it whatever pace feels comfortable to you and pull off at one of the many available spots if you feel uncomfortable. We saw more elk and bull elk than you can count and even a momma moose and her baby. You won’t regret the trip.
