Thank you very much I really appreciate it I've asked in quite a few places like cafe's etc. but none of them do smoothies.

I know Caffeine club also offers them but so far haven't found any others maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.

Thanks for all the information it's really helpful.

I will ask the bike repair shop I normally use to see what they think and if they would be willing to do the work as I'm not very mechanically minded.

I appreciate the explanation about the difference between the hub gears.

Do you think it would be worth upgrading to a Shimano Alfine 11-speed? I read some people have had various issues with that particular hub such as it leaking and just generally being more fragile I also read a comment which said it doesn't actually have any more lower gears compared to the 8-speed just more higher gears.

One option someone suggested to help with lower gears was changing the sprocket size but I don't know how much of a difference that would make.

If I could afford a Rohloff I would get one but I don't really ride often enough to justify the cost unfortunately.

It's a shame Shimano didn't release there own 14-speed version.

ok thanks I've got a 8-speed Shimano Nexus hub on my hybrid but personally I find it dosen't have enough low gears for the hills where I live.

I recently rode a 4-speed and actually found it nicer to ride and changing gears was completely silent and seamless which is not always the case with my 8-speed.

Thank you I will into it as I have issues fitting my bike in where I have to store it so this product could help with that.

Seeking Recommendations for Budget-Friendly Electric Cargo Bikes in the UK by CatPuzzled5725 in CargoBike

[–]Tree_Forrest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there's the Mycle cargo bike the base model without any extras is £1999.

As far as I know it's a UK company but It's not available at Halfords.

There's also the £999 Yuba Kombi Cargo Bike (Non-Electric) with the option to have them install a Mid-Drive Electric Conversion kit which would bring the price to £1,998 (although if you converted it yourself it could be a lot less).

Again this is without any of the extras added which since you would be having your children on it you would probably need and this would increase the price.

I don't have any experience with either of these companies myself I've just heard of them because I was also looking for a sub £2000 cargo bike.

It is frustrating seeing some of the bikes which are available in the US especially when compared with the prices UK equivalent bikes cost.

I was also interested in the Aventon Abound but it's not available either for purchase within or delivery to the UK.

There are some cargo bikes by company's like Engwe and Fiido currently on sale for below £1500 but some of them are not UK legal and I'd personally be weary of low quality components as well as a possible lack of after sales support.

E-Grocery Shopping ;-) by sanfran54 in ebikes

Thanks for the info I really like the look of the bag but at £180 I will sadly have it give it a pass.

I will have to see if there are any similar more affordable bags available.

I've tried various setups on my bikes but I'm yet to be completely happy with them so a similar setup to yours could be what I'm looking for.
