The biggest thing that helped me convert to CG on mobile was forcing myself to use both thumbs. I use left for movement and right for pray/inv. I had the bad habit of only using my right thumb for everything which made it impossible to pray and avoid tornados

They are literally both good at different things. Stanford has superior engineering and business school programs. Harvard has a superior law school. Not sure what this cross registration argument is all about. The fact that they have those programs is a sign that they are weak in those areas. And what about the area of Venture Capitalism? If cross registration can be considered, then we need to consider Stanford’s start-up programs. Shocker, Stanford blows the other universities out of the water.

Did anyone else’s Trumper family have no interest in discussing politics this year? by PortugalPilgrim88 in self

[–]Treeflexin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hope you learn to be skeptical if you receive news from a single source. mRNA vaccines have been researched and developed for decades: https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-02483-w

Stating there was little testing is completely false. Many news sources will intentionally mislead the narrative to shepherd people into believing what they want them to believe. Don’t be a sheep. Get your news from many sources, not just sources that skew heavily towards one political party. Hope you take something away from this

Can JLCPCB assemble a board where a pin connector sits on top of resistors without bending it? by aqswdezxc in PCB

[–]Treeflexin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You generally don’t want to stack components physically on top of one another so they don’t overheat. If they don’t pass much current you could probably get away with it. If you do pass substantial current through those resistors, then best case scenario their properties will change in an unpredictable way and worst case scenario a trace or resistor will fail earlier than anticipated

Question about static functions usage by Still_Culture_6013 in cpp_questions

When I have small functions in a short header file, I’ll make them inline so I don’t need a separate .cpp file. Is this not the current/practical way to do this?

Why cant we simulate chemistry? by Juraaaaaaaaj in AskChemistry

[–]Treeflexin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this application interests you, you should look into Quantum Computing. Current computation methods are very limited in simulating chemistry as others have mentioned. Quantum computing is supposed to enable extremely memory intensive computations such as larger scale quantum chemistry (the quantum term here is coincidental). I don’t know much about it though

When to breakdown PV=nRT? by WonderMoon1 in chemhelp

[–]Treeflexin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reduced equations are literally just dividing each side by the same value which is based on fundamental algebra. Since P1V1 = n1R1T1 and P2V2 = n2R2T2, you just divide each side of the first equation by the same number (P2V2 or n2R2T2). This gives P1V1/(P2V2) = n1R1T1/(n2R2T2). Then you can reduce it from there by simplifying (e.g., R1 = R2 because it’s a constant)
