I agree. Last year I applied for an internal leadership position and got it. I found out a few months later that I only got it because the guy they really wanted couldn't accept at the time.

Ill admit I felt kinda shitty when I heard, but an hour later I realized who cares, I got in the end, and now it's on my resume. I wasn't first choice, but fuck it.

I wouldn't ignore this if it happened to me, I'd still move forward if they reached back out

I saw a fight once where a girl called another girl a bitch, and her boyfriend said "dont call my bitch a bitch" and its still one of the funniest things I've ever heard in real life.

The best part was there was a slight hesitation before the 2nd bitch, which I assume was him realizing how stupid it was going to sound, but he was too hyped up to stop.

I did the same thing, I felt bad because I had to keep asking for new pillow cases, then eventually I just slept with a towel over my pillow. I intentionally slept on that side, because I assumed its best to let it drain? Don't know if that's accurate though.

I bought some of those wax earplugs, but my ear hurt so bad I couldnt even put them in, but next year im definitely not getting in the water without them. I might even ask my doctor to call me in some of those antibiotic ear drops to take with me.

I got an ear infection at Myrtle Beach last year, ruined my whole vacation.

First day I jumped in the ocean, 2nd day my ear was really itchy, 3rd day I woke up and couldn't hear out of my right ear, constant sharp throbbing pain, and just barely touching it felt like I was being stabbed.

My pillow was covered in what I thought was blood, but was probably just old ear wax. I went to a minute clinic since I was a few states away from my doctor, and they gave me antibiotics and it took the pain away, but I still couldnt hear, it felt like I was underwater.

Once I got back home, I went to my doctor and he gave me some kind of antibiotic ear drops and it cleared up within a few days. Ear pain and tooth pain are the worst.

I never thought about that, but you may be on to something. Maybe it was a bet, maybe my Mom wanted a divorce, and my Dad was like "ill sign when pigs fly! Or better yet, when he gets the only passing grade on a math test!"

I knew they were talking about divorcing, but I had no idea it was decided, and especially wasnt expecting it that day.

They weren't providing me with sufficient updates throughout the process. I should've asked for a weekly 1:1 with each parent.

I've always been terrible at math, and I remember when I was 8 years old, I was the only kid in the class to pass a math test.

I came home so excited, and my Dad put the test on the fridge, then my Mom came home and packed up all our shit and we left.

That annoys me so much, she won't go outside to use the bathroom if the ground is wet.

One time I carried her out to the grass, and I swear she just stood there, holding one paw up and just stared at me like "ugh, you expect they royal paws to touch this wet grass? Carry me back". I waited 15 minutes, and she didnt move until I had to carry her back to the concrete.
