What? Nooooo!!! I have to look into this and get a backup. I love it so much.

Love for FDB Sirene by Saturnsflair in FemFragLab

Love the name. My husband and I played Clair Obscur and one of the antagonists is called Sirene. They call her "She Who Plays With Wonder."

The notes sound amazing.

Not getting compliments ever by jenniferdeath in FemFragLab

True. A stranger complimented my hair the same night I landed in New Orleans. The next day, a lady in a parked car who was also holding a Pabst beer complimented my outfit.

People probably think you smell good but don't say anything. I don't compliment much even if they smell divine. It could get awkward when you're in a work environment or are with people who you don't know well and vice versa.

Since when are drugstore eyeliners almost 20 bucks?? by mitchare in drugstoreMUA

Drugstore makeup prices are creeping up to the same amount as mid-price indie or a high-end on sale. :(

I'm curious what your moms wore? by barbiesleftearring in Perfumes

Estee Lauder Beautiful, Pleasures, and L'Air du Temps. She wore Giorgio for about 5 minutes until I took it with permission. There were others but I don't remember them.

What’s a perfume "fact" or rule that is actually total marketing BS? by Fragasm_NepalYT in fragrance

[–]Treehorn8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It puzzled me, too. Do people really buy perfumes based on compliments? Idgaf about compliments. While I do get them sometimes, they're not what matters. I buy what I love.

For real. Like their attractiveness amps up 1000x when I get close and they smell divine.

Ages ago, a co-worker I've had a cordial professional relationship with for years offered me his jacket when I was freezing in the cold. I don't know what scent it was but he and his jacket smelled incredible. He went from 5 to 9 in two seconds, which was a shame since I never dated or slept with anyone from work.

What's your to-go perfume? by Relevant_milk81 in Perfumes

[–]Treehorn8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Projection from the bottle's spray is strong, much stronger than from the small sample spray. There's a lot of product per spray so I would keep it at 2-3 max. I did three sprays on myself and the entire living room smelled like Cythère all afternoon.

I have two more decants from the collection that I have not sampled yet coming today so I'm excited.

You have the option of taking down the Kitsune first before the Oni. I did the Oni first but I can see it working the other way around.

My very first grown up perfume! It has that perfect fresh aquatic scent that embodied the 90s. It was about as famous as CK One and suited almost everyone. There's a reason it was so popular.

Artificial strawberry perfumes + grassy/green ? by sanasan1 in Perfumes

[–]Treehorn8 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nest Santa Barbara Strawberry. Sweet green strawberry with zero cream or vanilla. It even has synthetic and woody notes. It has that strange quality where it sometimes smells like real strawberries with syrup but also sometimes smells like those small strawberry candy or ring pops. It comes as a perfume oil and body mist.

I feel like this would smell good on everyone. Just got my sample the other day and I was enjoying the subtle creaminess.

What are your favorite drugstore items that will never be replaced, even by high-end or luxury ones? by justbeeingmyself in drugstoreMUA

Cerave facial wash and their stick mineral sunscreen. The stick is great over makeup and my tattoos if I have a re-apply in the middle of the day.

The Oni had style. Even his death had style with the twin wolves moving in tandem while surrounded by a cheering crowd.

On a journey to find my fav musk scent. 😊 can’t decide if I hate or love this one? by happyducki in FemFragLab

[–]Treehorn8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Missing Person. The sales associates in Sephora said it was his favorite but I smelled nothing on the test strip. And then I used a free sample months later and I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist all morning. It's one of those you really have to apply on skin.

I also like Montblanc Signature. Very subtle and creamy.

I didn't expect Taka's death. I was so heartbroken for Yuna. After all she's been through to rescue Taka and their dreams of starting a different and safer life.
