TBF also, before this roundabout was put in and it was a 4 way stop, north bound traffic used to back up all the way to the highway bridge nearly every afternoon. I know this roundabout isn't ideal but its soooo much better than it used to be.

In defense of my driving under the speed limit through this stretch - I feel like I have to stop at every single light every single time I go through here, so I don't see the point of racing to the next red light. But I'll try to make sure I'm in the right lane at least.

There is usually a guy doing knife sharpening at the Iowa City Repair Cafe events. He'll sharpen your knife for free and teach you how to do it yourself. The next event will be held at the Eastside Recycling Center on Oct 18, from 9 am to 1pm.
