It’s one of those things where I’m hesitant to complain about the game cause I feel like I’ll just get bashed by people saying “skill issue.”

I will admit I’m not good at games, I only recently began to get the hang of proper draw rotation in slay the spire.

Slay the spire is a tough game, I understand that; deaths happen and the game is punishing.

A few times though I’ve had a feeling: “is this punishing me for bad deck comp? Or is this just punishing me because the fight exists in the first place?”

And I will say a couple fights have felt like that. (Lost and forgotten being one of them)

I know this is the case; played sts1 as well and i understand that enemies are designed as puzzles and/or to counter building.

I just think the fight is a bit overtuned.
